1988 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet

The Porsche 911 is a two-door 2+2 high performance rear-engined sports car introduced in September 1964 by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany. It has a rear-mounted flat-six engine and originally a torsion bar suspension. The car has been continuously enhanced through the years but the basic concept has remained unchanged. The engines were air-cooled until the introduction of the 996 series in 1998. The replacement for the SC series came in 1984 as the 911 3.2 Carrera, reviving the Carrera name for the first time since 1977. This was the last iteration in the original 911 series, with all subsequent models featuring new body styling and new brake, electronic, and suspension technologies. This particular example boasts a sinister look finished in Black over Black upholstery covered by a recently replaced Black convertible top and powder coated Black Fuchs wheels. For those who know, looking over the nose of a G-Body 911 is intoxicating, but paired with a convertible top... this is one of the most iconic and memorable driving experiences of the 80s! Powering this '88 is the stock 3.2 Liter Flat 6-Cylidner motor, and this example has seen the proper service and recent maintained for its age and mileage including brakes, suspension, and motor work! In the Atlanta Team's experience this is one of the best driving examples of a late model narrow body 911.
