1964 Chevrolet Chevelle LS1 Restomod

A far cry from an original '64 Chevelle, this fuel-injected resto-mod is ready to put a smile on your face. Powered by a LS1 small block, coming out of a 2004 Pontiac GTO, power is plentiful. A 4L60E automatic transmission handles the power with grace. Nearly every component on this Chevelle has been updated or upgraded. The restoration process began in 2011 and wasn't considered finished until June 2020. Less than 1,800 miles have been put on the car since completion. Paperwork detailing nearly $50,000 in parts documents the effort placed in the restoration. Behind the fresh-looking American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels sit the four wheel disc brakes. The power convertible top works well, with the motor having been replaced in Jan. 2019. The Ruby Red paint shows very well, with little in the way of blemishes or flaws. Inside, the seats, carpets and most surfaces are a dark shade of tan; and the seats wear a embroidered SS badge. Completing the look is the Dakota Digital gauge cluster, working well and displaying clearly.
