But folks from Carwow have wowed us with a great drag race video between the Tesla Model 3 Performance and the Lamborghini Urus, which was once the fastest SUV. We all know that electric power is instant and lag-free, and the Model 3 Performance proves that. But there is a full-fledged performance SUV from the house of Lamborghini... [read more]

The Brits have been aiming at the Germans for a long time and the Jaguar F Type R looks like it may be the biggest rival to the German trio. To see if thats really the case, Sam CarLegion has arranged for the Jaguar F Type R to go up against a BMW M4 Competition. Both vehicles couldnt be more different if they wanted to so, by all accounts, we have an interesting battle on our hands.
The Lexus IS brings a lot of excitement for the 2022 model year, but that does not mean it was never exciting. Lexus was intelligent enough to give it a facelift for the 2021 model year, ensuring that the lack of a new generation has no bearing on sales. The IS was always a daily-driver kind of sports sedan, which offered both, comfort and decent performance. But, rivals like the 3 Series, the C-Class, and the A4, are more dynamic... [read more]

The Toyota GR86 and by extension its twin, the Subaru BRZ, have been highly anticipated for 2022. While driver involvement is the main purpose of the compact Japanese sports car, safety is another key aspect of any modern car, and now, we know how the GR86/BRZ performs on the J-NCAP crash tests. Unfortunately, the results are less than satisfactory, but not for the reasons you may think.
Who said only tuners can work on updating sports cars? Take BS Teile Center, for example. Its origins are rooted in selling used Mercedes-Benz parts, but this didn't stop it from creating the perfect AMG GT R. And, it did this just by using original parts from model variants with superior features and drive systems.

The Purosangue has been Ferraris spotlight-stealer in recent times. Ferrari has been busy with other projects like the one-off SP48 Unica, but the Purosangue has been the talk of the town. But, that said, weve spotted quite a few camouflaged projects of it in recent times. First, we saw a V12 GT Chassis test mule, and now, our spy photographers caught an early prototype for the Ferrari SF90VS. This is a hardcore version of the SF90 Stradale and is expected... The reigning F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen, raced superbly to take the win at the inaugural Miami Grand Prix. The Dutchman took the lead away from the Reds of Charles LeClerc and Carlos Sainz in the early stages of the race. It was only the safety car phase, 16 laps before the finish that could have altered Verstappens dominance on the quick Miami track, but Max kept his cool and got the job done.
The Huracan is nearing the end of its life cycle, and the tradition at Lamborghini dictates that the last few years are reserved for special editions - a bucketload of them. A case in point is the Aventador that recently added its "final" iteration to the lineup with the Aventador Ultimae. Huracan's predecessor, the Gallardo, was put through a similar regime after its nine-year production run. And now, Lamborghini has introduced the 11th iteration of the Huracan with the Tecnica.
Sam for Sam CarLegion staged yet another drag race and uploaded the video on his YouTube channel. This time, he had the Jaguar F-Type and the Lexus LC500 on the drag strip with him. Both the cars feature a 5.0-liter V-8 under the hood, but that is pretty much where all the similarities end. One cars got a supercharger attached to the engine, while the other is a free-flowing naturally aspirated mill. One is an all-wheel-drive model, and the other... [read more]
The Fiat 131 Abarth was a tiny race car that made history: among many other titles, it also won the Manufacturers' World Rally Championship three times: in 1977, 1978, and then again in 1980, with Walter Rhrl behind the wheel. In 1976, Fiat built a total of 400 131 Abarth Rally units for road use. Unlike the race versions (237 horsepower), the street version only delivered 138 horsepower, but nobody cared as the 131 Abarth Rally captured the imagination of... [read more]
Shortly after Fisker announced the electric Ocean SUV, we were offered details about a second project set to arrive in 2024. Named Pear (no, not the fruit, but an abbreviation of 'Personal Electric Automotive Revolution'), this model will be another SUV inspired by the Ocean and with a driving range of 250 miles. However, it looks like 2024 will be a big year for Fisker, as the company just teased the third model. It will be called 'Ronin' and will... [read more]
By now, there isnt a single car enthusiast that hasnt, at least, heard of the Fast and Furious franchise. While the series has transitioned from street racing to a super-spy gig, it all started in 2001. The original Fast & Furious movie features, arguably, the most accurate tuner cars of all the series, and few are as iconic as the orange Toyota Supra, driven by Paul Walker, at the end of the movie. The people at Just Driven have decided... [read more]
Using feedback from the market, the media, and the N-thusiasts - who already found ways to improve the i30 N, Hyundai came up with the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition. While it will offer the same high-performance driving experience, the new edition will offer an updated exterior and interior design. The new special edition will be limited to only 800 copies: 620 for Europe and 180 for Australia. Production has already begun.
Practicality is, often, an afterthought when it comes to high-performance sports cars. If you are on the market for one, theres a good chance that practicality is not among your top priorities or that you have another, more practical vehicle. With that said, not all sports cars are made equal, with some of them being surprisingly practical. Here are 15 sports cars that are more usable than you might think.
This video by TheCarKraze on YouTube is a compilation of a bunch of other tiny clips put together that should give you a good idea about what the Toyota GR Supra and the Nissan Z sound like. This is a sound comparison of the two cars at idle, using launch control followed by a full-on drifting scene.
By now, you are probably tired of seeing 1,000-horsepower, Supras with a big single turbo and a fully built 2JZ engine. If so, this video by AutoTopNL will be surprisingly refreshing as it showcases an EU-spec Toyota Supra Mk IV. Instead of being fully modified, the car has been restored to factory specifications. As you will see, this Japanese classic looks and goes like it just came off the assembly line.
Land Rover introduced the Defender to the North American market for the first time back in 1993. It was an extensively modified Defender 110, in order to comply with the strict North American safety regulations. The SUV was powered by a 3.9-liter V-8 petrol engine. To mark the 30th anniversary of the North American introduction of the Defender, Land Rover will offer a special Defender 30th Anniversary Edition. It will be limited to only 500 units - just like the... [read more]
The truth is that, at its core, the Nissan Z is underpinned by a platform thats been used for decades. And, with the Infiniti engine under the hood with the very same output found in the Red Sport models, its easy to assume that Nissan simply cobbled a bunch of stuff together from existing parts bins into a new body and called it a day. That actually couldnt be further from the truth, though, and youll be surprised to know... [read more]
It's been more than a year since the McLaren Artura was announced, but it is only now that the supercar is making its North American debut. In fact, it made its debut in style, with Bruno Senna popping its cherry. Yes, Ayrton Senna's nephew has taken some hot laps in the supercar around the brand-new Miami GP circuit. McLaren has hopes that the North American market will become the largest market for the Artura when deliveries begin in July 2022.
The Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race or PSMCDR class will almost never run out of steam and the video by CarsandZebras, that I'm featuring today is proof of that very fact. This duel between a 1969 Camaro ZL1 and a 1972 Dodge Demon is one, that you just can't miss. Not only is it a full-on entertainer, but the video is packed full of facts on what exactly makes these cars so special.
Mercedes-Benz is not the only automaker out there to offer a Night Edition package. In fact, this has been quite a popular name among the special editions lately. For example, Hyundai is offering a Sonata N Line Night Edition, while Ram added the same name to its 1500 and Heavy Duty models. However, the name has the longest history in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. It has even been offered for models like the Maybach S 650. But, the latest addition is... [read more]
Just like the Nissan Juke, the SOUL has a boxy design that helps it stand out in the crowd. Of course, over its relatively short history, the SOUL stopped being as angular as it was when launched back in 2008, but still, it is very easy to recognize for what it is. The third generation arrived in the States for the 2020 model year, and since then, it suffered minor changes constantly, including dropping the manual gearbox for the 2022... [read more]
Right in the midst of the one-off Ferrari SP48 Unica being revealed, Ferrari released a social posting and a new webpage hinting at a new V-12 engine along with the phrase Heart of a Thoroughbred. Ferrari was quite vague about the engine otherwise, however, 'Purosangue' translates to 'thoroughbred' in Italian, so it was easy to draw a line between the two. The engine could have also been for the production version of this GT Chassis that was spotted testing in... [read more]

It was just earlier last month that we said that the Panamera will say goodbye to combustion engines for good. But, Porsche's sports sedan will be around and co-exit with the Taycan, one last time. These latest spy shots of the 2024 Panamera though are all about the interior and how they overlap with its EV sibling.
In his latest video, Doug DeMuro got to check out the new BMW i4 M50, which is supposedly the Bavarian automaker's all-electric take on the 4 Series Gran Coupe. As with any Doug video, this is an in-depth tour of the first-ever all-electric BMW to be given the full M treatment. Granted this is an M Sport model rather than an out and out M, but with 536 horsepower on tap, I don't see anyone complaining. It's no surprise that... [read more]
The next-gen BMW M2 has been spotted on so many occasions this year alone that its almost ridiculous. It lost some camo back in February 2022, was spotted on the Nrburgring in March 2022, seen with M Performance parts later on in March 2022, and now weve seen it again. This time, however, we got a pleasant surprise in our newest batch of spy shots, and you wont believe what weve found.
